Emergency Broadband Benefit

Affordable Connectivity Program.

The Affordable Connectivity Program will provide a discount of up to $30 per month towards broadband service for eligible households.

For example, if you sign up for our 3Mb plan which is $34/month, and you qualify for ACP, you would pay $4/month for your service for as long as the program is offered and as long as you continue to be eligible.

If you are currently enrolled in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program as of December 31, 2021 you will continue to receive your current monthly benefit until March 1, 2022.

Who Is Eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program?

Enrollment in the ACP is now open for households with at least one member qualifying under any of the following criteria:

Has an income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines;
Participates in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline;
Participates in Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations;
Is approved to receive benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision;
Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year; or
Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider's existing low-income program.

Xtreme Internet’s participation in the ACP provides for funding for Internet Service to qualified households.
An approved household is eligible for up to $30 per month until the program is discontinued by the FCC.
Or, when an eligible household is determined to no longer be qualified by the ACP guidelines.
The ACP does not provide funding for installation or removal of equipment.
Also, if you rent your home or apartment, we will need the permission of your landlord to attach our equipment to the structure.
